You will need application software to access the World Wide Web and the Internet. More specifically, you will need a communications software, and a Web browser.

The communications program uses your PC's modem to connect to the Internet. The Web browser allows you to access the World Wide Web. Your online service or ISP should provide this software to you at no charge.
